@PIKACHU49386 simple, because most default players suck. for example my htc desire player: theres no eq no stereo x no l r balance, wont play flac, fucked up navigation, looks like shit and so on..

I don't know why people always use these custom music players, I've used SO many of them, including PowerAMP, Winamp, etc, but I always end up going back to Google Music.
