  • @spaceman287 WRONG! This is a very old myth, usually spread about birds, which I find particularly amusing as most birds in this country cannot smell. Other mothers may smell the human scent on their babies and immediately give them a thorough cleaning, but they won't kill or abandon them. This can be true of captive bred animals but is actually very rare in wild animals! And, yes, wild animals should be left alone. Cheers, from Canada.

  • The cutest of all of baby deer!¡!!!!!!!

  • It's like she's saying, "Ma, Ma, (help)!"

  • fantastic i hope the mother came back but im sure she did

  • Kawaiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!! So cuteeeeee!!!!!

  • The deer sounds like it is absolutely terrified.

  • I heard somewhere that only male fawn make that sound, not sure if that's true, but it's so cute awwwwwwww

  • LOL, sounds like a 5 year old child yelling "Ahhhhh."

  • Nursing does leave their fawns hidden and return to collect them for nursing and moving locations. Seeing a fawn hiding seemingly without the mother nearby is normal. They don't take their babies with them so as to not flaunt them to predators.

  • @PhoebeWheeler really, if they hadn't piked the baby up and moved it, theres a good chance of it getting its legs caught in that fence and struggling til it died. They didn't do anything to harm it, and they released it after showing it to their children, who from this experience will place more value on the lives of animals. Go whine somewhere else.
