Milk and grains is NOT nutritionally equal to raw meat for a LION. Choosing to go vegetarian is a fine choice to make for yourSELF, but trying to make a carnivore do so constitutes animal cruelty and neglect. BamBam's caretakers are NOT cruel people and won't be doing that I ASSURE you. This cat is cared for correctly. Milk is fine for a cub, but they know he needs MEAT now. You can't force YOUR morals on ANIMALS.

@kipluck I agree but must add. Humans are both carnivores and herbivores. We eat both things, so substituting meat with some artificialy gorwn plants is no way to go. If it would be, people would've long before gone vegi, cause they wouldn't have to hunt anymore.

So cute! And by the way, if this lion was suddenly set free I'm sure it would die. Animals in captivity can't fend for themselves. I see nothing wrong with the way this lion is treated. He seems happy to me.

people who think lions should be fed vegan food obviously don't know the first thing about nature, lions, or nutrition.
