Since second year for Xenon in Thailand commences, it's time now for the Single Cab model but with "Quasimodo" flat-deck bed. Latest addition to the range as the first lifted 4x2 single cab commonrail diesel pickup in Thailand from Tata. Ready 24/7!
Officially called Xenon "GIANT" - but for good of load and use. Xenon GIANT featured as 2-seater with flat deck bed that can open out 3 sides: left, right and rear. Just like Australian utes. However unlike other Xenons, this bed packed with more plenty of cargo area than ever (2500mm X 1720mm). So it certainly have larger-truck-like capability and can load whatever up more unlike any single cab workhorses in its class. But may need to lift up higher a little bit because of its quite-high floor; so prepare your forklift.
What still similar to other Xenons are: DiCor 2.2 VTT Turbo 140hp, lifted with Hi-Terrain diff-lock, consisted with parts made of "export" quality steel sheets, not-too-rough maintenance costs, approved by Tata Motors Thailand and Thonburi factory.
And so it's one choice for the good of whatever business / logistics. And yet, another Xenon's way to break the rules on pickups in Thai market, with priority of energy-saving in mind.
We may think that Tata Motors Thailand may solved one problem if still cannot introduce Ace this year, next task is to consider for this Single Cab with 100% CNG system.
And it looks like YouTube has enlarged the HQ screen as well like HD. So it's GIANT too.
How are these trucks selling? They look pretty tough and stylish.

Only people in other provinces in my country buy. Not Bangkok's nearby provinces. Mostly for courier services and commercial logistics. Customers just needed a morecapability single cab pickup for more load capability. That's why Tata decided the single cab version to be with flat deck bed instead of original bed. Now available in 2.2 DiCor and 2.1 CNG (2 95L tanks and one 50L tank).
