in this war, somalis have got nothing to loose and for this sole reason, ethiopia (backed by the US + UK) is going through a difficult time in sustaining itself in this war, on daily basis hundreds of xabash are killed and the insurrection continues from north to south , west to east. this has united somalis and did cancel out all tribal boundaries of the past. for the first time in 20 years all somalis are united for a common goal = GREATER SOMALIA

The Professor Said Samatar is defending the war crime of Abdulahi Yusuf where other professor is much more compassionate to the victims of somalia. I heard that Said samatar is full of tribal beliefs, But now he justified it and thanks to him.

Natural resources of Somalia: uranium and largely unexploited reserves of iron ore, tin, gypsum, bauxite, copper, salt, natural gas, likely oil reserves. Plus, more debt piled on Ethiopia. A long war running up huge debt to the war profiteers followed by all those unexploited natural resources to be extracted from the country. Then, no doubt huge amounts of aid sent to Somalia's desperate population at unafordable interset rates. The old war/money/ resources/aid con. Straight out the textbook!!
