@mccarthief Alonso's style really worked best with Renault in '05 and '06 because Michelin put out a very aggressive tire which came up to temperature quickly and didn't mind being thrashed about. Once the switch to the controlled tire was made in 2007, Alonso's aggressive wheel movement upset the new Bridgestones and was no longer effective. I think the new slicks would work better for him, but so far he hasn't had the car to show us.

@MrLukedfrt I'm not making anything up. Both facts are actual facts, eventhough you don't like it. Face the truth, Alonso's a fucking filthy animal who's now showing his true colours with Ferrari.

@MacGovernor I weren't disputing that trulli or hamilton or whoever ain't good drivers because they are - especially hamilton. And we all know trulli is one of the qualifying kings - he's on a downward slope now but at his peak he probably could have beat anyone over one lap. But that was his trouble - he was only good for qualifying. Any way, I don't know where you got alonso having trulli fired from. It sounds to me like you hate him and just want any excuse to deny his undoubted talent

@eraserblueblazer How about Jarno Trulli who outqualified Alonso in 2004 until Alonso told Briatore to have him fired? And 2007 when Hamilton was better?

His driving style is very odd (Or ugly if you go by what Martin Brundel says) but effective.
