What people DO NOT realize is that for every dollar you pay in wage for an employee, you pay another 30 to 50 cents in government mandated insurance and taxes. So if you have an employee hired for $3.35, actual labor costs to the employer is 4.35...
-
If you can't even afford to pay minimum wage to your employee, you have no business being in business.
So long as minimum wage is applied to all businesses I think it is a common sense that it sets a good standard for employers.
Study what happened in Saipan, the minimum wage was fantastic for the local economy, it was when they were allowed to start hiring foreign, cheaper, labor that the economy crashed, oddly the economy of the place that got the jobs did not benefit or flourish.

Dr. Williams literally predicted the congressman's answer before he responded.
Hilarious!

Wow, you can really tell when the politician part of Rangel's brain kicks in. Deliberately and willfully misunderstanding Dr. Williams' point.
-
I find it funny that the entire time Williams is speaking he's being interrupted by people, either the crook, the "dr" or the moderator... Yet when they talk he sits there patiently. He also asks questions of them, not afraid of their answers, while they make wild assumptions and purposely twist words of his that are incredibly simple to understand...

A genius vs a corrupt flunkie lol

@morosi15 How dare you call Rangel dumb. That's really offensive to dumb people...
-
I heard that too! Willful ignorance!
I was thinking that maybe he SHOULD learn and study Williams' work. Now it's clear he didn't want to know anything about economics.

Mr. Williams-"let her finish the question" , congressman rangle-"well doctor, your not running the show." No shit rangle, she is, let her finish the question and stop running from the actual debate. Funny thing is, I seen congressmen rangle on John stossel say he was unfamiliar with Dr. Williams work. Maybe it's because he got dat ass whooped 20 years ago. Lmao
The congressman was dumber even back then.

He's not dumb. To call someone like him dumb would be to give them the benefit of the doubt.
