i think the song is impressive by itself - very modernist. i don't like the evelyn glennie-esc addition of electronic noises and reverb.

I agree. I actually saw Evelyn do this piece with electronics (which was awesome). When I did it, though, I didn't like it as much. :-( I don't have a recording without the electronics, and can't work this piece back up right now. Sucks.

wow. very nicely played. also, do you play tenors for battery, the reason i ask is because some of those leaps you are using a rotation simmilar to tenor playing. Anyways very nicely played indeed!

Never ever played tenors. :-) I can see what you're talking about--that's a technique that applies pretty well to things like this.
