It's funny that when the late Gregory W. Spencer originated ALL this (and did it much better btw) in the 90's, everybody thought it was crazy and silly and wouldn't dare try to pick no casket up, wear tuxedos, march, high-step, release doves at the cemetery, use a horse and carriage, shut down major streets and march all through town. Now you can't pay funeral homes NOT to do it SMH!! Everybody copyin (messin it up) and taking all the credit like they came up with somethin new. just a shame

Gregory W. Spencer died and the Dallas funeral industry just got real silly and lost their identity. Gregory W. Spencer did this the CORRECT/RIGHT way and not one funeral home would dare touch such high class of service. He was going to change the Dallas funeral and put a change to the way they did this. After that ALMOST ALL BLACK DALLAS funeral homes are doing the same stuff, and the GG is all about show but I must say they have stepped they service up since going in new building.

Do they really have to march like that..... they could just walk in or march normally..... they are marching in like they are in a step show on a college campus......

If thats hat the family wanted, and it was in reason then go for it. A friend of mine in IN did a service in Micky Mouse ears for a 93 yr old woman and hate every min. of it, but the family was happy with it. I've played Highway to Hell at a Biker service at their club house, because I wouldn't allow the service they wanted at my place and no one else would take them. It takes all kinds to make a world.

@SemperDevilDogFi
It's sad to say, but I would have to agree. As a director...I think that our focus should be on the families that we serve...not the show, not who has the fleet...but the family!!
And we wonder why other races sit back and laugh...LOL!! We can be a pure comedy show.
