Thanks for this. Very multi-talented man. I live in France now and my French husband is very interested in American movies (and stuff) and I hope to find something of Ebsen I can show him cuz I remember this really interesting person in showbiz. He wrote, too. I am looking for a famous surreal dance he did.

He should of been nicer to Nancy Kulp when she ran for the US House of Representatives. She was a lesbian and he used that against her in a smear campaign commercial for her opponent Bud Shuster.

I remember Backstage Pass here in Los Angeles on maybe PBS channel or cable. It's nice to see Buddy interviewed here talking about his career

Thank God that Buddy Ebsen was one of the few actors who wasn't typecasted and managed to make everybody forget about Jed Clampett in his Barnaby Jones role.

That is Jed Clampbett, I remember him . He strike oil one day and moved to California with his family.
Beverly Hillbillies! He became very rich and his next door neighbor if I can only recall his name...lol
didn't let him take out any of the money in his bank.

For you that don't remember him Buddy was around with all the legends in Entertainment a deep rabbit hole himself- longevity and his prolific archives of classic films makes him a piece of entertainment history.
He will be missed.
