I love my Sony 7506's. Great choice in headphones! Hey Mark, question for you... You mentioned bleeding from open-air headphones, I notice a lot of recording artists wearing AKG K 240 headphones. Wouldn't that be ill-advised because they are open?

The 240's are 'semi-open', so they would be ok if listening levels are low.
Like speakers, headphones are subjective. I used the Sony 7506's at the Aphex booth during NAB. Very nice for the price.
For audiophile listening, or just relaxing at home, I like the Grado 325i. They are very open, but sound great.
