Fake,the pulse engine is the thing that makes clocks go and those swinging gadgets that can run for days.
Also for it's long run time it's the favo 'eternal engine' for perpetual motion freaks.

I think it is an magnetic osillating effect that has to do with the speed of the magnetic propogation. The speed of the magnetic propogation is not a parameter normally associated with anything is electricity and magnetism. Thus the inability of the MIT professors to explain.
