Jerry Curry...for President?

Story of an American general who learned the real source of his power and authority. God's sustaining power was at work in the life of Jerry Curry from his early days in the Pittsburgh Steel Foundry through the many adventures that would follow, leading him into the places of highest authority in the land. It is the story of a young African American man who enlisted as a private at the age of eighteen and went on to become a General and after his retirement, to serve four Presidents. His tour of duty took him to Korea, Vietnam, Europe and Washington, and many places in between, where he faced great danger and challenge. Most importantly, it is the story of Christian convictions, faith, hope, and love.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend. (So hard not to offend people these days.) I wasn't calling you personally ungodly, just the behavior. Look at it this way--I hope to teach my children to make decisions based on what they think is the right thing to do, not based on what they think other people are doing. And I believe the Bible teaches that same thing for us as individuals. Do what is right, no matter what everyone else is doing. Make sense? (And no, I'm not Jerry.)

Look.I think Jerry would be GREAT for America. He just started to late. I'm a realist. Do I throw away a vote for someone who doesn't have a chance? or vote for a guy who can win that is close to my ideaolgy? Common Sence? ( No offence..glad you are not Jerry)

Well, that's sorta mean--"glad you're not Jerry". I don't think I've said anything that's inappropriate at all. But I think you summed up the problem with the Republican party today. We've compromissed and compromised until it isn't clear what we stand for anymore. Now people are left to vote for someone because he's not quite as bad as that other guy. And this whole "throwing your vote away" notion...where does that come from? Why are people not free to vote their conscience anymore? Sheesh.

My mother and sister actually had the privledge of meeting Jerry Curry. I heard only great things.The fact he is a very down to earth individual.That he is a well-rounded and focused.I now own an autographed book by him "private to general."I'm disappointed i didn't get to meet him myself.I have done some reading up on Jerry Curry and am very impressed by him.I'm relieved he is running for president.He says if he doesn't make the ticket he will run for vice.He has my vote in this election.
