Anoche ví el partido del Valencia y Chelsea. El único que batió a Alves fue Lampard en el minuto 50, pero podría haber sido peor. Hizo un partidazo, salvando cinco goles cantados y para mi fue el jugador del partido. El Valencia sumó un punto gracias a la increible actuación de Diego Alves, sin ninguna duda.

@VCFCentral1919 Wow I didn't realise Palop was ever at Valencia. Shows what I know. Whenever I've seen him for Sevilla he's been awesome, loves a strong punch out the box. Canizares speaks for himself, that's a pretty incredible goalkeeper pairing you had!

@cwdcomps Hard to tell really. They're both top 'keepers IMO, so the competition will be fierce. I do think he's a bit better than Guaita, but at the moment Guaita is the number one.

@VCFCentral1919 Ooo I see. I always think it's difficult for 'keepers to settle if they're being rotated so I'd imagine one of the two would be seen as the main man.

@cwdcomps Ah, cool.
And that's true. We started working on the Diego Alves signing last November, just before Guaita burst onto the scene. So he wasn't really needed, but I guess it can't hurt to have a good back-up.
President was comparing it to the years when Cañizares and Palop were at the club and we won the league. (Palop is now at Sevilla though, and he hates Valencia, hehe.)
