Had to be done! The iconic C64 SID demo from the early days. Gave us a good hint at the power of the complex 3 channel 6581 synth chip in the Commodore 64.

All 9 tunes played in full, number 1 is my favourite but all are great really.

  • Yes I vividly remember listening to these songs for the first time and being totally blown away that this kind of music could actually be brought forth by the brown bread bin C64 box in front of me....

    Of course as soon as I had made this I found the disk image for the music player with the hypnotic graphics I did a short video of last year AAAARRRRGGGHHH!!!!!!

  • Hell Yes! Brings back memories. I remember I was blown away the first time I heard this. It really was ground-breaking, especially compared to the 1-note "beep!" which was the best the Apple IIe's at school could do. Thanks for posting!
