i just adore akitas they look awesome and they're king of all dogs cause they're huge. i really want to get a brindle colored one i give akitas 500 stars for a dog.... P.S.they're awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *0*

they sure are mate,summert about these dogs,they are one of the oldest breeds in the world and related to wolves,how cool is that lol

I have a akita inu lovely dogs

I have Japanese Akita Inu/American Akita mix, he's 4mo. We have goats & kittens running around the farm, he likes them all. Took him to outdoor flea market where many people and their pets were present. Was a great place to "socialize" 's him even more!. He sniffed the other dogs, his up on his back, no growling, he was very calm but alert as he met them. He wasn't jumping or pulling at leash like most!. Could take it or leave it towards other people outside of the family, typical of an Akita.
