Cause of Las Pinas Traffic, Philippines Vid 2

this is the main cause of traffic at the ceciles intersection in las pinas. its the traffic lights! i had brought this up a million of times to the local government but they seem to take no action. therefore, i decided to expose this to the whole world, maybe someone will take action!

this was taken last feb 25, a non-working holiday. all the roads were almost blank except for this. i was stuck in traffic for 20 minutes! again, the culprit was the traffic light in that particular intersection. even as late as 11pm when Alabang Zapote rd is smooth and driving would be a breeze, once you approach that Ceciles intersection (Alabang-Zapote rd & Casimiro), the traffic is terrible. At times, the police would shut off those traffic lights at rush hour and oh my, no traffic at all!

Video 1: I took this after 3 minutes when the light turned red. Notie how long it takes to turn green. Then I will focus the cam on the other lane and take a look on how terrible the traffic is!

Video 2: This is proof how blank the road is! Very few cars where on the road that day!

Mayor Aguilar, sorry I had to expose this to the world. The local government seem not to take action and just laughs off my comments.

Kya nga umalis nalang ako ng Las Pinas dahil di ko kinaya ang traffic! Sayang ang oras mo palagi sa traffic, di mo mamamaximize ang oras. Isipin mo pupunta ka lang ng ATC galing Remarville aabutin ka ng isang oras higit pero pag walang traffic, 15mins lang. Tapos color coding 7am-7pm pero wala naman nangyayari! Kaya para nalang guminhawa, lipat nalang ako. kuha ako condo unit sa fort. mas okay! walang traffic at lahat nandyan na. gimikan, kainan, grocery, etc.

I also notice that traffic flow is much better when the traffic lights are switched off. ironic huh

They finally must have seen this vid and permanently switched off those stupid traffic lights! Now, traffic is way better and not as horrific as before. There are still times that the tail end of the traffic jam would extend till Uniwide, but not as often as before. Even at as late as 10pm, the traffic was horrible before when those traffic lights were on, hangang Makro o Uniwide ang traffic! Ngayon bihira na ang ganon ka grabe

i miss philippines and las pinas pare buti nag improve na traffic harhar ok na pala pag bakasyon ko dyan nxt yr!

Traffic is one of the worst problems in the Philippines. It's caused by a combination of a multitude of factors that result in a lot of frustration for everyone. I really don't think there are any traffic engineers in the Phils as I see no evidence of that. I guess they all went abroad?
