I think most of Capcom's music was like that during that era I remember Street Fighter III sans 3rd Strike having that jazzy techno/house fusion. Good times.

@emeraldweapon77 I still say that 2 (and now 9 & 10) has the best music in the series, but 8's is pretty solid.

1. It's nice to hear classic tunes reworked; it adds to the nostalgia value (ex. Time Passage from Mother 3).

2. Megaman 8 was composed by Shusaku Uchiyama. Megaman Battle Network 3 was composed by Akari Kaida. Get your facts straight before you comment.

I thought MM8 had a real good soundtrack and this here was one of its prime tracks.
