Ah! Finally, I'm able to get something done here. Traditional whacking moles with hammers doesn't work on this stage. Instead, you have to pick up the Goon Totems and block the holes.

Zack makes his way to the big block of ice encasing the treasure chest and slowly and patiently depletes its 9999 HP. I cut out a bunch of hammering here, of course.

As for getting to the treasure chest itself, I found out that yes, you CAN break the icicle. It's just that the item you need to start it out was the one item I never tried: the Moldrill. You use it to make a little hole in the icicle. Then, you can put the small icicle (the one you can pick up) into the hole to use as a chisel with the Boarhammer. That makes the hole big enough to insert a Frog Bomb into, which will shatter most of the ice. The rest can be sawed off with the Centi-Saw.

That leaves only the Batbrella...which is never used in this mission, unfortunately.

As for what that "Exed Exes" is for? Well, I'll show it in the next Zack & Wiki video.

  • I know you know this but you should of made the huge ice chunk fall on the treasure. It would of scored you 150,000 pts

  • This was my first time through the game. I was still trying to figure it out as I went. I eventually learned how to crack the icicle, but only after I finished the game and was tackling the Lores.

  • Nice puzzle solving skills. But scaring the frog half to a death with a snake, then turning it into a bomb, and letting it explode? That was a bit mean on Zack's part..

  • There's always another frog that shows up. But yeah, I found the idea of Frog Bombs pretty mean from the start.

  • Somehow, I can tell that this game gets some of it's inspiration from other games. However, it still has that totally unique look that you're obviously attracted to. Looks fun.

  • I'm not as familiar with Capcom as a lot of other people are, but I wouldn't doubt it--that thing I got called "EXED EXES" is definitely from some past game.

  • heh, you got a hammer by using a hammer

  • I used the drill on the chunk of ice on the bottom, though that part was cut out. I used the Boarhammer, gave it a bunch of whacks, and tried a few other tools to see if they'd be any faster. I found out they either become unusable after some time or are even slower than the Boarhammer, so I went back to the Boarhammer and pounded the rest of the way.

  • Lots of items and lots of puzzles. And one big and confusing level indeed. O_O

I'm glad you managed to clear it.

  • Huh, I would have bet money that you would've tried the Drill on the big icicle.

Also: The mole drill & umbrella can be used on the big chunk of ice, and you can do what you're supposed to do to the big icicle to the chunk for massive damage
