I started working for Ma Bell in 1973...it was a good company to work for we had the best training and employees took pride in their work.

The U.S. Justice Dept's anti-monoply unit had been after The Bell Telephone Company since it's inception, however, certain entities in our government realized how valuable the system was until the final blow came January 1, 1974 giving them 10 more years to exist and provide the best communication the world ever has or ever will know. Remember these words:"if it ain't broke don't fix it" ! I must be old fashioned, I like a phone you can hear the person your talking to clearly. Go Bell System!!
