Note also that the 36 double names are the 36 lesser keys of the Theurgy of Salomon.

The 72 Names relate also to the decans of the zodiac, every field of the 12 signs is divided in 3 decans of 10 degrees each. That makes 36 double fields which relate to the 72 names or 36 double names. Then, if you read all the names and what they relate to, you find your own path trough your whole life step by step up to 72 years lifetime the last being Mumyia, the death and mumification. Yes, the Kabbalah originates from Mizraim, Egypt, that's why this last name refers to the mumy.

Kabbalists do not wear amulets since no real Kabbalist will ever be supersticious. Kabbalists peal the onion form out to inside and rebuild it the inverted way. The 72 names of the Shem HamPorash are allegroic and they describe inner states of consciouness. A psichanalyst will call that complexes. But, there is also a mathematical background on this set up by Pythagoras. But, this would be too ling to explain here. The 72 Names are calculated by Temurah, or permutation, of G-d's name, YHWH.

I am going to do this every day thanks...

These names can be useful in amulet making, but that's different from 'pure' QBLH

are you Ashkenazi?
I looked this up in the Torah Scrolls... does not compute (at 0:56) the 3 verses...? Sorry, can not watch any more. Sad...

@HouseOfTheWay Click "Read More." I likewise do not hold to any intrinsic 'power' in these 'names.' Hence, in the "Read More" I write: "Very useful for learning to read Hebrew;" and I provide a quote from one of the most widely respected Rabbis in the past 2,000 years expressing his opinion this concept.

Well done. So what is the meaning of the "names". If you do not know, you are actually taking the name of God in vain.

@zackhashable Teaching people who to pronounce G-d's Name does not equate to saying His Name in vain. This is explicit in halakha. Please see the video "Destroying G-d's Name." I actually lean towards the Rambam's position regarding such "names."

@lovenikka I encourage you to look into what Rambam (Maimonidies') had to say about the use of such "names."
