  • No one could replace Sally Field in the1970's film version.

    This one came close, though.

  • You made a beautiful video but I just wanted to say that most people with this disorder prefer it to be called DID, and not MPD. And also, it is not an uncommon thing for 16 personalities, there are many more accounts of people with more than 16 personalities, and all the people with DID, call it their System or Family.

I loved your video and can't wait to watch the movie :).

  • @Sheri451 I shall one day.

  • @Sheri451 I hope this doesn't mean that Sally Field has to give back her Emmy...that role is what really broke her out of the Gidget/Flying Nun mold.

  • @WithAVoiceOfAnAngel3 There is a new book out. It's called Sybil Exposed, by Debbie Nathan. It says that Dr Wilbur invented the personalities after reading books by Dr Sigmund Freud. She wanted to "cure" a multiple.I got my copy of the book from Amazon. I originally was going to borrow it from the library, but they only had two copies and the reserve list was months long.. Believe me. This book is worth reading.

  • @IronicallyVague Thank You I will look at myself , and You're Welcome about the book

  • @Sheri451 - Look again, I see a beautiful person :)

Thanks for the info on the book

  • @IronicallyVague I know what you mean about memory, and I don't even like to look at myslf in any mirrors.

  • Forgive my terrible words, but a person cannot help but be angry at the mother, and I know no one sure as heck can blame me for being mad. It's my personal belief that child abusers and even rapists be abused the exact same way, that way they could experience the torment they put their victims through. I hope to God convicted rapists get raped everyday in prison, too.

  • What an evil, terrible, TERRIBLE mother. The problems with Sybil are entirely all her mother's fault. I know the mother may have been schizophrenic, but what she did to Sybil was completely unforgivable. I swear, somebody ought to torture that bitch, somebody ought to stick objects inside of her, fill her bladder using an enema bag, tie her to the piano and make her hold in her liquid until she bursts. Somebody really ought to severely sodomize that bitch and see how she likes it!

  • @IronicallyVague * of course there are also others that would be able to make it thru the day if they saw the truth :P
