HA, really? What a fucking freak...

One person's "abhorrent sexual behavior" is another's healthy expression of sexuality, and vice versa.. abstinence is abhorrent, in my opinion. I don't think anyone is arguing that sexual acts involving children should be allowed, and I openly accuse her of making that up herself.
If I could say anything to this lady, it'd be something along the lines of, "Just because you are afraid of your vagina, doesn't mean the rest of us have to be"

"it will seep in that way " ..."a boy in a bikini" ~Oh My... I'm having the vapors!
"parading in the movie" "our children are targeted"
..... Janice please ....all children aren't YOUR children. And quit the mendacity.
Ms. Crouse, you should quit choosing to practice a lifestyle of fear and loathing of LGBT people.

@jessemckay Your utterly disgusting attempt to justify the slavery in the dusty old tome of lies you clutch desperately to your bosom says all that needs to be said. You are an insult to humanity, little more than the ignorant, racist, sexist, genocidal desert-dwelling ancestors in your fairy-tale adventure storybook. I'm finished interacting with you, as I don't want your stench to contaminate me. Goodbye.

Our contemporary view of slavery, as expressed in our 14th Amendment, claims that it's always wrong to enslave [innocent] people. Similarly, Israelites sold themselves into slavery because they were very poor or to satisfy a debt; generally the slaves they kept were spoils of war and not innocents; and the year of Jubilee each 50 years freed the slaves.
The condition of involuntary servitude, impressed on the young and innocent from birth and by virtue of color, is repugnant to morality.

In the zeal to "update," the homosexual mob very conveniently ignores important truths.
Values, virtues, and morals are immutable. "Doing the right thing" means the same today as 200 years ago.
Those who recognize the value of life, liberty, freedom, property,et al, are disturbed by slavery wherever and whenever it occurs, whether in Mississippi 150 years ago, or whether in the Sudan today.
The Bible neither defends nor supports slavery, especially generational or lifelong.

@jessemckay (cont) in fact, I would agree with all 4 of your "vitally important" items minus one word: promiscuous. Promiscuity can be dangerous, though it is not immoral. We should let youngsters know about the pitfalls of such actions, but once they reach adulthood, it is up to them what they do with their own bodies. The terms "immoral and vile behavior" in my 4 points would include things like telling others they are dirty, filthy sinners for enjoying their own bodies. GROW UP.
-
@jessemckay that is EXACTLY the point. Joining the modern age doesn't mean having no values, no virtues, etc. In fact, it means *updating* your values, virtues, morals, etc. It means having the courage to see that sometimes things we once viewed as right and good (owning other people, per the bible) are in fact horrific and disgusting, and things we viewed as immoral (homosexuality, enjoying our own bodies) are in fact, healthy and proper.

Law, as we generally understand it, is a set of established values, principles, and guidance we have given to ourselves.
Are your country's values the same as your values? Does the country value life, liberty, freedom, and property in the way that you do? Does the country encourage chastity or promote promiscuity?
At what point does it become necessary, wise, or practical for government to open doors and remove social obstacles for homosexuals whose practices greatly offend the public?

When I was a young man, Johnny Cash was on the radio, Bob Hope was entertaining the troops, Johnny Paycheck was playing in all the bars, and Steve Jobs was making exciting computers.
Now Obama is President, and we have no Cash, no Hope, no Paycheck, and no Jobs.
And apparently there's no morals in this country anymore when two women or two men can get married.

America is great because America is good.
Our citizens must be trusted to do the right, honest, and moral thing.
Our citizens have the responsibility of electing the USA President, the de facto leader of the free world.
If not America, who could/should be the world leader? China? Russia? Japan? India? Brazil?
Obviously only the USA can be #1.
On November 4, 2008, Barack Obama was elected the 44th President of the USA.
Something has gone dreadfully, dreadfully wrong.

What we find in reality is not the Bob Hope generation of our grandparents or the Rosie the Riveter generation of our parents.
We see the Jerry Springer generation, the Kardashians, Courtney Love, Paris Hilton, Amy Winehouse. and worse. Everybody giggles when the actor or the basketball star or the golf star is "hooking up" with prostitutes, groupies, or transsexuals, drinking, clubbing, doing hard drugs, until passing out and then it's rehab for as long as it takes for the law to look away.
My favorite soft porn comes from the bible. My favorite film review site is christian with all the warnings you can't normally get from mainstream reviews. They're great at promoting it all. I almost thought she was going to say cats and dogs will end up sleeping together.

@flashman2012 - hehe when I was a kid, I used to think that cats were the girls and dogs were the boys and they made kittens and puppies together. :-P
