I was told that i have Type One diabetes, July 16, 2003. I was age 6. I take 6 shots a day. You don't see it just looking at me, because its inside of me. Type 1 does not make u fat, it makes you sick. Taking insulin takes care of that. Yes i can have carbs and sugar, but only when i take a shot. Dont say type 1 makes u fat, or will make u die, or makes u lose a leg, or go blind. Take ur insulin, and u wont have that. eat right, and u wont get fat.

I have had diabetes for a very long time probably longer than the majority of people who watch hannah montana, and I feel like it's better to have a sense of humor about diabetes.

him and sugar don't match- more like him and insulin don't match. insulin is the hormone that regulates blood sugar, so i guess in a way that's partly correct. but diabetics do need sugar when theyre blood sugar is too low or they can die.
