Welcome back to Halloween Haunter's Reality. This is episode #3.
This video series features "fly on the wall" recordings of the Season of Shadows Haunt prep work for the Halloween 2008 season. I'm taking the camera with me during every Halloween related trip or project and am grabbing footage along the way.
The purpose of these videos is to show what it's like to prepare for a small to moderate size Halloween yard haunt and to celebrate the Halloween spirit.
This third installment features a time-lapse construction of a ground breaker zombie/corpse, a trip to the Spirit Halloween Store and a tour of my Halloween work area.
Thanks for watching!

lol ... you sound like the Scream guy ... but its a compliment!! Scream was the first horror movie I ever saw! I guess I'll have too get one of those light up things for my cats too ... lol their names are "salem" and "isis" which I'm sure a guy like you can appreciate since your into Halloween... lol .. I myself am OBSESSED w/ the holiday. I have certain decorations that stay out year round! lol

@Trueghostgirl Thanks for your compliment. :) Yeah, my cats love that spooky projector. Speaking of that, I haven't had it out in a while for them. You just reminded me to get it out again. Those are great names for your cats!
Always awesome to meet a fellow Halloween enthusiast.

dude thats wicked Im trying to make one like it. I think this is the best vid of how to make a corspe on youtube nice job but what do you use for the arms? and why use screws?
TheTman171 1 year ago
@TheTman171 Thank you. I really appreciate it! I just use newspaper and duct tape for the arms too. You sort of have to experiment with rolling different thicknesses on the paper until it starts to resemble the upper arm and the lower arm. I like to use screws to guarantee a tight hold until I mache, but you don't have to. You could duct tape the ribs to the back rather than screwing them in. I'm hoping to make an even more detailed how-to this winter. Thnx 4 watching. Happy Halloween!

@SeasonofShadows hey how do you make the shoulders
TheTman171 1 year ago
@TheTman171 I wad up a small bundle of newspaper, then flatten it all out a bit and start shaping with my hands. As I'm shaping it, I'll usually wrap a little bit of duct tape around it to hold everything together, then I continue shaping it. Once I'm happy with the look, I cover the whole piece in duct tape. If you have a full size skeleton to look at in person or even just an arm with a shoulder blade attached, it can help.
