5 PVC pipe (as oppised to garden hose--will not work due to suction).
6. Electric outlet 15 amp.

  • I have a small stream next to my house, can i use that pump to water the lawn with one of those tractor type lawn sprinklers, at about 200 feet of hose.

  • i'm sure you can. I run a 150 feet hose, but used only one sprinkler head. If you need to run more sprinkler heads you might need something more powerful to run the water that distance and get decent coverage.

  • And isnt water cheaper than running the electric motor, has anyone actually have numbers ,or some thing to show the savings ,watering a lawn with that pump. I know we are starting out with free water from a pond, so its just howmuch electric used in 3 hrs verse using domestic water for 3 hrs watering a lawn.

  • its funny that this pump is set up similar to my little swiffer wetjet pump the intake is on the end opposite the motor and the outlet is just like yours but on a right angle to the motor. its just a fitting and it keeps friggin breaking off.
