Yesssiiirrr, I used single strokes, John Longstreth is a beast, and no 16 year old can do doubles like him, so sorry if it's no up to your expectations lol.

Pardon the sloppiness around some parts this song strained my legs horribly. I feel like I have leprosy ._______.

  • Clearly a good cover, but why trigger/sound replace everything? Unless that's just how it's being picked up. Might just be my preference for a natural snare tone. Kicks are understandable.

  • @Etherion Thank you, but my drums are internally mic'd, excluding the bass which is triggered clearly. I use a special maximus preset in the mix of the drums to get an extra powerful sound. Just a preference of mine.

I definitely understand what you mean though, I much prefer a natural snare tone as well, but I just find it more entertaining to do it this way in my videos.

  • hey bro that's great!!!

  • Would you please explain where the double strokes come in? I am no drummer, but still interested in the techniques of extreme metal drumming.

Bottom line, I am extremely impressed by your performance.

  • iron cobra ?

  • so good!

  • Actually I prefer singles and so do many other drummers, because theres always that question if its heel toe, anyway great playing!

  • do you shave your legs to go faster? Your awesome

  • @AlexLancia Nah I left all the audio in the same place, just the foot cam got way off when I put it in Adobe Premiere. I couldn't get it to line up correctly.

and if I had moved the audio, I would've fixed the part in the middle where I was behind :x

  • did you move some kick drum hits around? around 3:36 looks like you missed a few beats, no big deal, good work man.
