  • Yup, turns heads everywhere, but I'm a bit sick of the drone to be honest.

  • @ILLUSIONLABS si is it like a special setup that replaces the mufflers as well? Becuase i've been curious about echo cans/echo tips for my durango and was wondering what this was. But i'm thinkin this may be a little different from what i'm lookin for and thinkin of

  • @aaminjoshi91 They are pretty much straight pipes, and they sound a LOT more than stock, in a good way. The sound is very throaty and just mean when you go flat out, but there is some resonance though when going 60.

  • bom tubes are just longer wider exhaust tips right? would you say they made any real changes to the sound? i got a super 44 on my 4.7l durango V8 and wanna know somethin else cheap to get done to it you know?

  • ya it was really loud lol and it didn't sound good when you got off the gas because it would back fire every now and then it was kinda funny

  • Haha ok ;) I haven't really measured as I have the cheapo version of the car so I have to measure gas mileage myself, but I guess I go to the gas station about as often as before. Wasn't it insanely loud without mufflers at all? lol

  • Ya it went from about 18 to 19 mpg to about 10 to 11 but then again i just took off the stock mufflers and drove around for fun though lol so have to seen any major mileage change since you put the boom tunes on from stock?

  • Sorry, I answered using my job account ;) Was gas mileage really that much worse?

  • Ok that's what i thought because one day i got bored and just took off the stock mufflers and it seemed like it was better but it actually killed my power and gas millage so i put them back on later that day and i just want to make sure that doesn't happen again or that i know i have to get it tuned up afterwards

  • It feels more powerful because you can actually feel the engine rumble, and it sounds way more powerful too, but it's probably just an illusion.

  • So did you feel any performance gain or lose once you put the boom tubes on?
