"Le Chaland qui passe" est la version française de la chanson italienne "Parlami d'amore Mariu'", créée par Vittorio de Sica en 1932 dans le film "Gli Uomini, che Mascalzoni !" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cmbj9dghLo4 ).
La chanson inspira Jean Vigo. Il fit le film "L'Atalante" en 1933/34 (qu'on peut voir dans la vidéo). La chanson, en France, prit le nom du "Chaland qui passe". Elle fut créée par Lys Gauty ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpDHDINZNy4 ).
Devant le succès de la chanson, le film "L'Atalante" fut rebaptisé "Le Chaland qui passe", et près de 40 artistes différents enregistrèrent la chanson! Voici la version peu connue de Marcel's.

"L´Atalante" is one of the masterpieces of the cinema. The valse musette fits in almost perfectly.
