On April 5th, 2010, the Archbishop Wood High School community lost one of its most beloved friends. Mr. Kelly served Archbishop Wood High School for 39 years. Over the course of nearly four decades, Mr. Kelly held such positions as Athletic Director, Coach, Phys-Ed Teacher, and Driving Instructor. This video is a tribute to a man who truly was loved by all.

RICHARD V., age 65, of Phila. and Surf City, N.J., died peacefully after a short illness on April 5, 2010. Loving son of the late Joseph J. and Margaret E. (nee Murphy). Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (nee Mormando), loving father of Richard (Erica), Brian (Francesca) and Gina (the late Richard J. Roscioli), loving brother of James (Kathy), Joseph (Marilyn), Dorothy and Philip (Laura). He is also survived by his 3 grand-children, Richard J. Roscioli, III, Sophia and Isabella and many nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Roman Catholic High School and Delaware Valley College. He taught at Archbishop Wood High School for 39 years and was Athletic Director there for many years. He coached football at Roman Catholic High School, Archbishop Wood High School and Delaware Valley College.

We still miss you R, and we're still thinking of you! Stories of you still break out on occasion (all great and funny ones) and it's still hard on us thinking your not here, rolling around on your chair in the gym. Rest in Peace.

Wow, Mr. Peters looks great. Krantz was funny, like always. R was a great guy, and I will always remember gym classes with him. Unfortunately, I was unable to learn how to drive from him, but I guess that might be a good thing...ha.

Oh my goodness...is that Peters now? Wow! Krantz was hilarious in this. I'm surprised Duffy wasn't screaming in this. Duffy hit the nail on the head though...he's 100% correct. I want to shout out a big "Heeeeyyyyyyyyy!" the way R did to R. Best to his family and all those who's lives he touched. God Rest the soul of Mr. Kelly.
