The trekking set-up (BOB) that I used most often this past year. It is set up for warm weather in this video. This does not include my EDC gear.

  • Great little pack, one comment... A bear can smell that little bag of food in the zip lock bag up to a mile away, 3/4 of a mile for Wolf and coyote... All kinds of critters can smell that bag... Don't know what kinda critters you have in your area, just food for thought.

  • @brenterwin99611 You are right, they have incredible sense of smell. The areas I go into have Black Bear and Coyote that are up to 80% Canadian wolf according to genetic tests (most people don't know about the hybridization). I've been overpacking in water proof plastic containers lately but, I would still recommend hanging between trees and away from camp for over night.

  • I know I'm a little late on commenting on this video, but I just had to say how impressed I am at the amount of gear you can put in it! I personally use the U.S. Army 'assualt pack'. I thought I stuffed it full and I'm a minimalist , after seeing this vid man, you can get alot of gear in that little pack, awesome!

  • @ArmyStinger150 It's surprising what can fit in a pack. I'm with you on the minimalist thing. I prefer to carry the bare essentials but, I carry a wide variety of gear depending on what I set out to do. I also like the idea of being practiced in carring what I can just in case the situation comes up.

  • where do you put your glock? rather, where do i put mine?

  • @rekkerya There are some things that people find out when it is already too late. Wise men say enough but never too much.

  • Wow that is one prepared bag, I like the way you separated some of the items with the color coded bags. You my friend are definitely prepared for a Zombie Apocalypse.
