Snoqualmie Pass (elevation 3,022') is the main gateway through the Central Cascades on the way west to Seattle, and also a crossing point for the Pacific Crest hiking trail. I went up to the mountains around Snoqualmie Pass in late spring with a couple of Canon still cameras on some days when mountain thunderstorms were predicted. The clouds were hitting the crest and dancing up to the peaks, and the light was extremely changeable (which I love). This video is the result of about 2500 still shots from the two cameras over several trips, mostly shooting simultaneously in different directions. Luckily, I had just finished and packed up the gear when the clouds burst, the thunder rumbled, and the rain tumbled down.
