@125888918 True, but she got lost somewhere after All For You, all albums that followed were predominantly sexual and less fun than simple escapism. It wasn't until the recent "Make Me" that she finally went back to dance music and just having fun. I finally was fortuitous enough to find her "Dream Street" album over here for $2.50 and incidentally, I love it as much as I do all the earlier Janet. I think it to be one of her underrated bests to be honest.

@hebleedsglitter It's a different topic, as in that it doesn't deal with sex. It's about love, life and escapism. Sexual content is okay when used properly, but once you overdo it, it becomes boring and ineffective. This is good Dance music. Janet has always been a Dance artist first of all.

SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHY THIS SONG WASN'T RELEASED?

I wish this song was released in the United States only instead of Japan:(
But Janet Jackson was super cute at 19 years old:)

music: Yuji Toriyama
words: Ralph McCarthy

I am in Japan now, this place has used CD stores all over so I NEED to get this and Dream Street. I miss 80's Janet, I still love her today, but her music definitely had more of an innocence to it and a cause like Rhythm Nation 1814.
