there's some truth to that. but, when religion teaches injustice, people can follow those directives fanatically since they think they're following god's orders. but, you're right. there have been some fanatical and psychopathic atheists as well. not sure that the problem was with che, though. maybe i'm not well enough informed. what's your complaint about him?

I don't have a problem with either. Religion on the whole is a very good thing. What I do have a problem with is intolerance and senseless violence--inside or outside the guise of "faith".

Well its a good thing that atheist don't ever kill people, or start wars. . . oh wait there was that Mao character, and Stalin, and Che.. . but that's it. . . sadly, the flaw isn't the institution--its the people. With or without religion, humankind can be brutish.
