  • why don't you just put my car on a giant hampster wheel? call it what it really would be: another tax. you take my inertia and/or power and (after significant losses) turn it into power for you.

    i think this might be successful, not because i think it is a good idea, but because governments might see it as another way to steal our money

  • WTF! There's no free lunch. This energy comes from the fuel people put into cars - increasing the drag on a car, which is already an inefficient converter of fossil fuel, to try and convert that back into electricity is stupidity itself.
