I learned how to play it with ascii in about a week. Having tons of fun even though of course I'm not getting that far down in the dungeon.

this version is named falcons eye. I would say that vulture's eye is the best. Vulture's claw(SLASH'EM) is like Vulture's Eye but it has many new things like items/classes/levels, and is harder/easier at different places. The normal version you see in the beginning is just Nethack.

@sedd1234 I played a Rogue and whenever Iplay as one my luck SUCKS! 1st time I played as one I threw a dagger and missed the target killing my kitten. So my God struck me dead with a lightning bolt. Second time around I found an amulet and put it on and it turned out to be a cursed item known as The Amulet of Strangulation. Damn it. lol
