Scientology is not being attacked for its beliefs, but is being questioned because of its aggressive policies and unethical treatment of its members/critics.

Scientology could not operate from a farther position from "turning the other cheek". Ever heard of "fair game" -- the Scientology policy of doing anything, including lying, cheating or suing a person who is against Scientology? If you want to compare Scientology and Christianity by their principles, Scientology isn't going to come out well.

wasn't it jesus christ who said that we should not cling to our family but go and consider all men our brothers and sisters? and love our enemys? turn the other cheek when someone strikes you? here i think scientology is right. i don't like my enemys and (btw scientology is one of them) but i won't go seeking a fight although i can see the anger toward sci when i see groups like anonymous. there are some real quarrels there to be sorted out.

Scientology is a vicious cult; not a religion- it's only using the religious status to get out of paying the IRS(Income Tax). Scientology ruins families. moreover, poeple have died at the hands of scientology, So, I think we are talking "apples and oranges" here.
