  • The well here is the well known well of Zam-Zam, still present now, close to the Ka'bah; after thousands of years.

  • The Kaba is a structure not a stone and it was built by Abraham and his son Ishmael (PBUH) Mecca is mentioned in the Qur'an in 48:24. Another name for Mecca is Bakka, depending on the dialect of the tribe: this is also mentioned once, in S. 3:96

    "Verily, the first house (of worship) appointed for mankind was that in Bakka (Mecca), full of blessing, and guidance for all people." Amazingly enough, this word Bakka is mentioned by the prophet David (PBUH) in the Bible: (Psalm 84:6)
