Fed Chief, Ben Bernenke's warning sounds eerily similar to that delivered by Nicholas Biddle in 1834 when President Jackson threatened to take back the power over the QUANTITY of the nation's money. Also, top market watchers see patterns in the market that are similar to those that created the market crash in the early 1930s. A big thank you to all those who flooded Amazon.com with complaints. "The Secret of Oz" is selling there once again.

  • Hi Bill, big fan of Money Masters here in Canada. Still the go to documentary to explain North American Fiscal Policy. My question:

If (heaven forbid) the worst occurs and we are plunged into a depression worse than the 30's, what is the best place to hold your assets against hyper-inflation? Is gold and silver truly a safe place, or will food and water be the only real currency in your opinion?

    Thanx again, from Alberta, Canada

  • Unfortunately, I have meant to look into the Canadian situation for quite some time. I understand there is a good example of a debt free money bank there. I just haven't gotten around to it -- but I will.

  • Good job Sir !!

  • @haziz I've always wondered how a cow can grow 1000 lbs eating grass. Found out they don't eat it, the grass sits in its first stomach, fermenting the cellulose with microbes; fermentation. So, i've always wondered how we can replicate the rumen of a cow for all the food we'll ever need. It sure would be cheap nutritious local food.

70% of a cow's energy is supplied by fatty acids, the rest is microbial protein; no carbs at all!

I think processes similar to making brewers yeast is the answer.

  • @sfiorare - Hmmm. Why do you say that?

  • @zanretsukenXII - what a nut case
