Fays voice is stunning - no fiddle required and (this from a huge Boden fan). Finally getting to see Fay sing solo in Bury St Edmunds, later on this month.

I disagree - the intense stare and playing add to the intensity of the song; the feeling that the music is following the voice and that they are not separate.

A talented pair but I could not hear the words because the fiddle dominated the voice and Jon's manic stare fascinated me....if he had kept his eyes downcast and played "2nd fiddle" to Fay, I could have concentrated on her and the song.

Lovely singing Fay, (and fiddle, John,) but maybe a bit too busy to hear the words, which are most important. If you just thinned out the round parts it would work better, or perhaps put something repeated on a loop with the main vocal to the fore.....
