Yeah so simple yet so beautiful....

@FuzzFuzzWahWah That old piano sounds amazing.really good job.

Not sure it'd work so well with the epic chords in some of the Beethoven songs I'm not learning though! Thanks again.

@philosoful yeah totally! sounds like atmospheric and creepy in a way. haha shoudve left it out of tune! dont listen to the keen piano players who dont agree :)
-
Same in a strange way (and thanks!), it's just kind of different to the typically perfectly tuned super chimey grand piano tone. Irony being I had it tuned for the second time ever yesterday.
-
i think the out of tune-ness actually makes it sound more awesome :)

Cheers, I actually like the tone of it too :) Raises strings that tight an extra tone/semi tone really does make a huge difference (as in now that I've had it tuned).

@philosoful
yeah amazing what a difference it can make!
any chance you could just type up the notes you play, just in shorthand?
I'm trying to learn this by ear and It would be a great help...

It's just arps of the chords involved and there's only 2 chord patterns in the whole song really. The main theme = C Minor, A# Major and F Minor (I think), C Minor = C, Eb and G, and so you play them in that order, then the octave, than the octave and back down, likewise for all. It's weird how 99% of arps are only actually 3 notes and octaves.
