Season 2, Episode 1 - Stafford Train Station (04/01/2011)

It is the start of a new season, that can only mean one thing: IanPooleTrains is back and he is back with a new format and a new set of ideas.

First episode in the new season is from Stafford

In this video, we see a variety of trains from Virgin Trains, Cross Country and London Midland heading for destinations like London Euston, Liverpool Lime Street, Crewe, Birmingham New Street, Manchester Piccadilly, Bristol Temple Meads, Paignton, Bournemouth, Chester, Glasgow Central and Edinburgh Waverley.

Also look out for special guest appearances from EWS' 67005 pulling some royal coaches, Direct Rail Services with a class 66 and a class 47 and two Freightliner Class 86s

Best bet would be to get on the Birmingham NS train and change at Crewe and then either the LM London Euston or LM Birmingham NS train

Nice vid, thinking of going to Stafford, would you recommend it over Bescot (considering ration of DMU/EMUs to freight)? Thanks.

@JIMKUltra I would say yes. Bescot does have a freight but it can be intermittent. Stafford has plenty and if you go when I went between one and five, plenty of freight and passenger services as well

great thing that the first train of the new series was a freighttrain
