This is the 1st part in the story about one of Canada's finest fiddlers. His name is Lee Cremo and he is a MicMac Indian who lived in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Lee was on his way to compete in the World Fiddling Championships, held each year in Nashville.

  • I met archie in polliative care a few weeks back.. all he ever talked about was Lee&how much they would just jam out, i sure wish how archie is doing today but i do know he still knows how to jam real good xD .. RIP Lee Cremo <3

  • Respond to this video...cause those "Lil GeeGeeGee" he added, are actually 1/32 and 1/64 Notes, he was a Virtuoso, much Loved by me and my Family; and He used to come over and teach me Mi'kmaq, he had the vocabulary of the Old Language, i miss Him Dearly!

  • @salmonfire in other words he composed runs on the Violin that captured the rhythm of Black Ash "Rattle" called the Ji'kamaqn, and put it into the Scottish Jigs and Reels he loved. So these runs imitating the Rattle, are almost impossible to play on non-native instruments,

  • @oke1z Thank you Rob, i will have it played on our Community Channel, i want to share why Lee Harvey is so Special; Lee Harvey, was considered a Genius in the Music World, this is the documentary about his Journey to the World Fiddle Championships in Nashville, Tennessee; where he won the Title of ... Best Bow Arm in the World! What he did was to incorporate; or bring into; Traditional Aboriginal syncopation techniques>>>

  • how can I get a hold of you, I live in Halifax Nova Scotia
