good looking kata

IT DOESNT FREAKING MATTER WHO CREATED IT OR WHATEVER!
SENSEI KANAZAWA IS OLD AND HES STILL TRAINING. STOP ARGUING YOU ARMCHAIR WARRIORS AND GET YOUR ASS OUTSIDE AND TRAIN!
Hes a inspiration to watch! For you who understand what this is will appreciate it for those who dont shutup, you shouldnt be here in the first place.

@zerosenpai He did not create Gankaku Sho. Gankaku Sho is the Shotokan version of Tomari Chinto (also known as Kyan No Chinto - look it up on YouTube). Similarly, this is Shotokan's version of Go Kenki's Nipaipo. Shotokan also adopted Goju-Ryu's Suparinpei and it's called Hyakuhachiho.

this kata was well one by master kanazaw himself

@zerosenpai He did not 'CREATE' Gankaku Sho. He just incorporated it into the Shotokan syllabus. It is in fact his rendition of (Chotoku Kyan) Tomari Chinto. If you search "Chinto Old Style" you will see the kata in its original form.

i KNOW HE IS NOW OLD. i HOPE THAT IS THE REASON HIS KIAI IS SO WEAK
-
If I could die half the karateka that Kanazawa sensei was, I'd die believing I had accomplished something.

Lets remembe that the Original Masters studied under the same Instructors (most of the time) Naha-Te. Until there was separation and creation of individual Styles they separated Kata for their own use in their curriculum, and left out some, and some were lost as well.

@zerosenpai He did not create Gankaku Sho. It is HIS version of Kyan's Chinto.
Se ve la influencia que la practica del Tai Chi tuvo sobre el Sensei Kanazawa en esta kata. Lo conoci personalmente en Las Vegas y es alguien que irradia poder y harmonia.

he did not invent that kata, he did create one called "Gankaku Sho" for his 10th dan grading (given by masters not only in karate but in many martial arts, and the emperor of japan), back in 2002 i was in a class with kancho Kanazawa and he told us, nijuhachiho is an old kata, he convinced an old master to teach him the kata so we could keep it trought history, because it was going to disapear with that old master with no students, or something like that.
