i was so pissed when they cancelled this i even wrote a letter e mail anything i could .ive watch the dvd box set seven times already it was way better then rescue me

Agreed, i got the box set as a chrismas present last year. I wish it would have lasted longer.
On the bright side, it allowed him to do Rescue Me.Maybe if they had pitch The Job to FX it would still be on.

Great show. An injustice that it was cancelled. Denis Leary's best work. Get the box set. The last episode was awesome. The storylines were realistic as well. I know several Chicago Police detectives that Leary's character could have been modeled after.
