Adam Carolla Interview with Avi the TV Geek

Adam Carolla talks about his movie "The Hammer", being friends with "The Soup" host Joel McHale, his voice over work in various animated projects and appearing on "Dancing with the Stars".

George Carlin had just passed away the day before the interview, so Adam had a few words to say about him.

I enjoyed this interview, but I really was pissed at myself for how lousy I conducted the interview. First of all, I don't think Adam liked the question about why he made "The Hammer", probably because I didn't phrase the question the way I wanted to. Adam slaps me with sarcasm several times during the interview (all deserved slams BTW). Plus, I talked about his voice over work and didn't bring up "Family Guy".

Man, I really sucked big time during this interview...and that really makes me mad because I love Adam's work and was looking forward to this interview. Hopefully, I'll get to do another interview with him sometime in the future.

How is he a loser? He's NEVER been out of work since he's been in the entertainment business. He's had multiple hit shows like The Man Show for 4 years and Loveline for 10 years. Now he has the 97.1 radio show which is incredibly successful in L.A. and several other markets.

@Makingnewnamesisdumb: Yeah, I'm sure it's some part of the t-shirt. But it looks like a swastika if you observe it closely. Not that I'm accusing or implying that Carolla is racist. It is possible that no one on set noticed how that part of the shirt would look on camera. (subject at 1:30)

Notice Carolla says Carlin is "poignant, angry, interesting, thought-provoking," and had "social commentary" rather than that he was "funny". Therein lies Carlin's importance.
