@discostarslayer Usually students who go to harvard or other ivy league schools major in what they're actually interested in while being pre-med or pre-law or pre-dental or pre-vet or something like that. Usually the ones who major in business admin, economics etc... wants to be investment bankers, financial advisers, CEO's etc...

going to harvard for latin american studies, drama...why do you go to harvard for this

@ZetaAdele Full grant? Well i certainly wish you the best of luck :) The money is in the sciences and probably will always be, but they say you should major in what makes you happy as happiness is the ultimate currency :)
-
@nothighleftbehindYeah I can understand what you mean by that, and sadly for people like me who do wish to study in the humanities, the money is all in the Sciences. I actually do wish to study at a universtiy such as Oxford or an Ivy leaugue university for the challenge, experience and somewhat for the reputations of these universities, but I'd realisticly only go if I could get some sort of scholarship or bursary. And then again there's always Princeton and they offer full grant to students :D

@ZetaAdele lol sweetheart I am perfectly aware that said major does not exist. It was a joke - meaning it was not to be taken literally. My point was that, in my opinion, it makes no since to pay for a top notch education in a major that is both so easy to finish, and, in this economy, does not guarentee (sp) a stable income at the beginners leve; - which is where these girls will be once they graduate and start being billed for that Ivy education. A major in the sciences is makes more since...

@nothighleftbehind "Biothermal Nuclearmiocondriac Chemical Reproduction Engineering" ? Firstly, there's no such thing. And you're obviously under the assumption that you can make no money in the Humanities, well you can. If you're smart and take the right courses you can get a high paying job in research or at a museum. There is not much difference in taking a science course versus a humanities course, you just need to be smart and know where you want to work.

actually. now i'm no longer scared that i won't get into harvard. ^^
-
WHY THE FUCK would you rack 100,000's in debt for a fucking Latin Studies degree? I'd be majoring in Biothermal Nuclearmiocondriac Chemical Reproduction Engineering or some shit - then I'd have a way to pay the loans off!
-this is my friend here!
-no, we're actually roommates...
