PLEASE READ: This is a typical "carbon sphere" class 1 suit for protection against chemical and biological agents. The carbon lining serves to neutralize chemical warfare agents before they make skin contact. Note, that although the suit is liquid resistant, it is NOT impermeable. The suit is merely designed to slow down the penetration of chemical agents. M17A2 masks were commonly issued with these suits. Please excuse the inaccuracies of the M40A1 with quick doff hood in the video. In the case of an M40 Promask being used with this particular suit, it would have been used with the earlier hood with integrated second skin. Also, I chose to shoot the video without a filter installed. Nonetheless, the video is intended to demonstrate what M.O.P.P. 4 looked like in the late 1980s/ early 1990s.

  • No filter man?

  • @M1919A Nah, not at that time. I filmed this when it was honestly around 90 degrees ;)

  • wonder what would happen if you walked into town like that?

Hey man, I got blocked from your channel. They conveniently put the block button where it is so easy to hit.

  • Not that bad, i honestly think my M.O.P.P review may have been worse. cool mask hoping to get an M40 on ebay some day :)

  • wow your atully showing your self :D

  • It's always to me a warm, comfy/cozy feeling to imagine whilst you are in a toxic, radioactive or bio-hazardous environment. You are all protected in your mopp-suit

  • Cool, but you know that once it's oped it's useless.

  • cool

  • @morbidangelofdeath1 Well, I walked into Walmart with an ARMY 1976 NBC Suit, and let's say... Not a good idea. Cops were called, and I was kicked out from Walmart. Also, almost got cited for "Disturbing the peace" but got off with a warning. Lol. If I get enough "support" from the YouTube community, I'll upload the video.

  • @DillonPrim1995 Nah man. Almost every bit of it was from ebay. I assembled this suit in particular for around $45. The actual MOPP suit was $12 in the package. You can get amazing deals. I have one of these in desert tri-color too that was a bit more expensive, but still reasonable. Try to stay away from armygasmasks(.)com. His prices are astronomical and pretty much all of the pictures and content on there don't belong to him.

    Thanks,

    Dan
