what joe blount did in this bit is actually extremely intelligent as well funny. he was able to make fun of both whites and blacks simultaneously by mocking black people's bad side through the mockery of a white person's bad side. this comic effect actually touches on the fact that it is possible to see what is wrong with the relationship between whites and blacks and that both sides can make an effort to just laugh and be together and against. "a community" as it were lol.
