PS3 Slim, just officially announced, there is no reason why anyone can't pick this up. I more ways this is the absolute gaming machine because it comes with 120gig hard drive and all the goodies the older PS3 models have. This is an excellent deal, even better than MS most expensive system. Sony is going to win this gaming console wars.

It is as cheap as it is because the Sony's manufacturing department found a way to cut cost without undermining the system. And being that Blue Ray is the new standard for High definition movies, over time, the parts become cheaper for the Blue Ray drive.

I dont' t see how PS3 and Xbox 360 fanboys have to fight about which ones better. Both systems are pretty much the same both have there own ups and there own downs. I'm getting a PS3 for christmas!

The slim, although more affordable, is an ugly little hunk of shit. The original PS3 made it's presence as a gaming machine known. It took up so much space it was impossible to ignore. The slim looks stupid too. I like the glossy finish on my 80 gig. Plus, I can just put a 120GB(or bigger) in my current PS3 and have the same thing. And no, the description is wrong. Sony won't win the console wars. No one has held the reigns for three generations. This generation, it might go back to Nintendo.
